Richard M. Marcus is President and CEO of RemTec International, USA, RemTec International Australia, Pty., Ltd. and RemTec International Europe, SRL. Together, these companies comprise the largest and most comprehensive privately owned halocarbon-recycling facilities in the world.

Since 1996, Mr. Marcus has actively worked with the Commonwealth of Australia and other key contractors in support of Australia's National Halon Bank. Mr. Marcus is also involved in Multi-lateral halon banking projects in the People's Republic of China, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine.

Mr. Marcus began his business career in the fire protection industry in 1972. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, school of Business Administration (1972), and received a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Toledo (1976).

Mr. Marcus and RemTec International were recently featured on World Business Review with Alexander Haig and he was a NW Ohio Entrepreneur of the Year Award recipient in 1998. RemTec International was also recently awarded Ohio Governor's Export Award in 2003.

Ron Marcus
Business Development Manager

Ron contributes to new business development for RemTec International. Ron has assisted in the development of special projects involving refrigerants, fire suppression and destruction services over the last several years.

Ron has assisted in the introduction of EPA approved alternative products for both the Refrigerant,Air Conditioning and Fire Suppression market sectors as well as addressing specific issues confronting the Halon market.

The need for destruction of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS), Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP's), Green House Gas (GHG) emissions as well as other environmentally harmful waste streams has continued to be an increasing challenge for many businesses. Ron has helped develop efficient destruction services both domestically and internationally to meet our customer's needs.

Allen McPherson
Senior International Technical Advisor

Allan has been with RemTec Australia Ltd. Since 1997. He was the plant manager during our contract with the Environment Australia and Dascem Ltd. Allan was instrumental in the success of our Australian operations.

Allan is currently working with research and development and assisting with installations and training of our international projects.

Shipping Department

The shipping department handles all incoming and outgoing shipments from one cylinder to truck load shipments.  RemTec is experienced with regard to the labels, non-flammable gas and forms required for hazardous 2.2 shipments.
