Since its inception in 1986, RemTec International's mission has been to reduce the environmental impact that halocarbons (Halons, CFC's, HCFC's and HFC's) have on our atmosphere. We do this in several ways:
- First, RemTec purchases "used" Halons, CFCs, HCFCs and HFCS from non-critical users and then processes these agents until they meet internationally accepted standards. This material is then “banked” in our long-term storage facilities until needed by critical users.
- Secondly, RemTec also sells new replacement agents to users who no longer require Halons and CFC refrigerants.
- Finally, RemTec offers several destruction options to clients who need to be safely dispose of these hazardous materials in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
RemTec is ready to offer assistance where and when you need it. No project is too small!
RemTec International is a Department of Transportation and Transport Canada approved hydrostatic testing facility.
